Revisions and the Activity Log

You stay in control of what your client changes. Two mechanisms make every change traceable and reversible.

WordPress revisions

Every allowed change by a Client Editor creates a normal WordPress revision. You can compare versions and restore an earlier one in the page editor, like you do for your own edits. Nothing is overwritten without a trace.

The activity log

Go to Client Edit → Overview. The Recent activity table shows:

• the date and time (UTC)
• the user
• the page
• the editor (block editor or Elementor)
• the action, for example Page protected, Change saved or Change blocked

Blocked attempts are logged too, so you can see when a client tried to change something that is locked.

Privacy

The log stores summaries only: element IDs and attribute names. It never stores full page content and never stores IP addresses. Retention is configurable, so old entries are cleaned up automatically.

Restoring a previous version

1. Open the page in the editor as an administrator.
2. Open the Revisions panel for the page.
3. Choose the version you want and restore it.
