You protected a page, and later added a new paragraph, image or button. The client cannot edit the new element. This is expected, and easy to fix.
When you protect a page, every block receives a stable, invisible ID. Permissions are attached to these IDs instead of fragile selectors. Blocks you add afterwards do not have an ID yet, so Client Edit Mode treats them as read-only for Client Editors.
You will see the confirmation Block IDs re-synced. The new blocks now have IDs and follow the page permissions.
Whenever you edit the structure of a protected page as an administrator — adding, moving or removing blocks — press Re-sync IDs afterwards, so your client can immediately edit the new content.
