How to Install and Activate the Plugin

Payment Gateway Per Product for WooCommerce is available in two editions: a free version on WordPress.org and a premium version from Dreamfox Media. The installation steps are nearly identical — the only difference is where you download the plugin file.

Before you begin

Make sure your site meets these requirements:

• WordPress 5.8 or later
• WooCommerce installed and active
• At least one payment gateway already configured in WooCommerce (go to WooCommerce → Settings → Payments to verify)

Installing the free version

1. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New.
2. Search for WooCommerce Product Payments.
3. Click Install Now next to the Dreamfox Media result, then click Activate.

Installing the premium version

1. Log in to your Dreamfox Media account at customers.freemius.com/store/1727 and download the latest .zip file.
2. In your WordPress dashboard, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin.
3. Choose the .zip file you just downloaded and click Install Now.
4. Click Activate Plugin.
5. You'll be prompted to enter your license key — paste it in and click Activate License. Your key is in the original purchase email and in your Freemius account.

Verifying the installation

After activation, open any product in Products → All Products, scroll down to the product data panel, and look for the Payment Gateways meta box. If it's there, the plugin is running correctly.

If you don't see it, confirm that WooCommerce is active — the plugin requires it and will show an admin notice if WooCommerce is missing.
