Setting Up Delivery Timeslots

Timeslots let customers choose not just a delivery date but a specific window within that day — for example, 10:00–12:00 or 14:00–16:00. The plugin handles capacity automatically: when a slot is full, it disappears from the dropdown.

Good news: Timeslots are included in the free version.

Step 1: Enable Timeslots

  1. Go to WooCommerce > Delivery Date.
  2. Scroll to the Timeslot Settings card.
  3. Toggle Enable Timeslots to on.

Step 2: Set Your Delivery Window

Define the start and end time of your delivery day. For example:

  • Start time: 08:00
  • End time: 20:00

This means the first slot of the day begins at 08:00 and the last slot ends at 20:00.

Step 3: Choose Slot Duration

Select how long each slot is. Available options: 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, or 12 hours.

With a window of 08:00–20:00 and a 2-hour slot duration, customers would see:

  • 08:00–10:00
  • 10:00–12:00
  • 12:00–14:00
  • 14:00–16:00
  • 16:00–18:00
  • 18:00–20:00

You can preview the generated slots in the Live Slot Preview panel on the same settings page — it updates as you change the duration.

Step 4: Set Max Orders Per Slot

Enter the maximum number of orders that can be placed in each timeslot. Once that number is reached, the slot is removed from the checkout dropdown automatically — no manual intervention needed.

Leave this field blank or set it to 0 if you don't want a capacity limit.

Step 5: Save

Click Save Changes. The timeslot selector will now appear at checkout after a customer selects a delivery date.

What Customers See

When a customer picks a delivery date, the timeslot dropdown loads automatically showing only available slots. Fully booked slots and past slots (for today's date) are hidden. The chosen timeslot appears on the order confirmation page, in the customer email, and in the admin order view.
