"No shipping options available" at checkout is one of the most common WooCommerce issues, and the plugin can sometimes be the cause — but not always. This guide walks through each possible cause systematically.
Add a simple product with no shipping rules configured in the plugin to a test cart and go to checkout.
Some versions of the plugin treat an empty selection as "no restriction" (show all) while others treat it as "allow none". Check the plugin's settings or documentation for the exact behaviour of your installed version. If you want to show all methods for a product, either check all of them or remove any custom rule.
If the cart has multiple products and their allowed methods don't overlap at all, the intersection is empty — so nothing is shown.
WooCommerce natively hides shipping for carts containing only virtual or downloadable products. This is expected behaviour — not a plugin bug. If your cart has a mix of physical and virtual items and you still see no shipping, the virtual item may have had its Require shipping checkbox ticked by mistake. Verify under Product Data → Shipping.
Still stuck? Open a support ticket with your WooCommerce version, plugin version, the zone configuration, and a screenshot of the product's Shipping Methods panel.
