Before you begin

Make sure you have:

• WordPress 6.0 or later
• WooCommerce installed and active
• Administrator access to your WordPress dashboard

The free version of Shipping Gateway Per Product is available on WordPress.org. The Premium version comes as a .zip file downloaded from your Dreamfox Media account after purchase.

Installing the free version

1. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin.
2. Search for Shipping Gateway Per Product.
3. Click Install Now next to the plugin by Dreamfox Media, then click Activate.

The plugin is now active. You'll find its settings under WooCommerce → Shipping Gateway Per Product.

Installing the Premium version

1. Log in to your account at dreamfoxmedia.com and navigate to your purchases.
2. Download the premium .zip file.
3. In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
4. Click Choose File, select the downloaded .zip, then click Install Now.
5. Click Activate Plugin.

If you already have the free version installed, deactivate and delete it first — the premium plugin is a complete replacement, not an add-on.

Verifying the installation

After activation, open any product in the WooCommerce product editor. You should see a Shipping Methods section (or a dedicated meta box) where you can assign allowed shipping methods for that product. If that section is missing, check that WooCommerce is active and that no other shipping plugin is overriding the checkout output.

What's next?

Once installed, set up at least one WooCommerce Shipping Zone with at least one shipping method before assigning rules — the plugin filters those existing methods; it doesn't create new ones. See Setting Up Shipping Zones in WooCommerce if you need help with that step.
